Free Reverse Cell Phone Lookups - Why Are There So Many Sites That Claim They Are Free?

Everywhere you look on the internet you see websites promoting free reverse cell phone lookups. But for some reason every time you try to get some information out of them you wind up on a page that tells you that you must pay to see the information you want. So are their services that are free?

The short answer is no and here's why. Unlike landlines that are stored in large data bases with all the information you want cell phone numbers are not. Before the invention of cell phones if you wanted to know who a phone number belongs to you just called the operator. With cell phones there is no operator so that option is out.

Although cell phones have been out for 15 years or so it was just recently that services became available to trace a cell phone number. The company that offers these reverse cell phone lookups had to go and collect all the data bases from all the different cellular providers in order to create a large base of numbers like they have with landlines.

To save yourself a lot of time and frustration do not buy into the hype of a free service. Trust me because I was the guy who said I would find one. Well after about an hour and 20 or so sites that claimed to be free, which wound up not to be free, I gave up.

The good news is the reverse cell phone service is not that expensive. They have different packages that you can look up only one number or a package that you can look up unlimited numbers for a year. If you have a suspicion about a number on your spouses phone or a teenager you need to check up on then you will be pleasantly surprised at how little they actually cost.

After looking up a few numbers my self here is my #1 recommended site for reverse cell phone lookups. You now have the means to find out who's number is on that phone by Clicking Here
